The loss of Superstar Jenni Rivera is still such a shock to the world; this devastating tragedy has been a huge knock. We are still unclear of the full detail of what actually happened on Sunday, but US National Transportation Safety Board has now confirmed her death.
Jenni’s drivers license and a shoe were discovered in the rubble of the accident. The license is in pretty bad shape, but it is still recognisable and it is clearly hers.
A high-heel shoe similar to the style Jenni is notorious for wearing was also retrieved and a boot with crystals on it, which was worn by Jenni at her last concert in Monterrey, was also recovered from the wreckage. See the photo of the boot that was found next to her wearing it.
The Learjet 25, number N345MC, in which Jenni was travelling on departed from Monterrey at 3.30am local time and was reported missing around 10 minutes later. It was registered to Starwood Management of Las Vegas, Nevada, according to FAA records. It was built in 1969 and had a current registration through 2015.
Regarding the singers body, her remains which have been declared “unrecognizable” were taken to Monterrey and will go through DNA examinations before they’ll be turned over to the families.
Jenni Rivera’s brother Lupillo Rivera who is also a singer traveled to Mexico to recover the body of his sister. The singer said “Ma, I am going to bring your daughter home, I will bring my nephews and nieces their mom, our sister. To the fans a great woman.”
