It’s been non-stop madness regarding Beyonce lip-syncing the National Anthem during Obama’s presidential inauguration.
And in a recent interview with Jon Stewart on “The Daily Show” Jennifer Lopez weighed in on the situation “Sometimes it happens, when you’re in certain stadiums and in certain venues, they do pre-record things, because you’re gonna have that terrible slap back.”
J.Lo continued in Beyonce’s defense as she mentioned how Whitney Houston had pre-recorded her 1991 Super Bowl performance and said “So yeah, people do it …all performers have to do it at some point.”
Lopez’s former “American Idol” judge, Steven Tyler, said the situation was blown out of proportion.
“Beyoncé’s so hot she can do anything….Let’s just get real.”
Aretha Franklin also shared her thoughts on the situation and said the controversy was “hilarious.”
“I thought it was funny because the weather down there was about 46 or 44 degrees and for most singers that is just not good singing weather…” she told ABC News. “When I heard that, I just really cracked up. I thought it was really funny, but she did a beautiful job with the pre-record.”
On a personal note…. Everyone already knowns Beyonce is an amazing entertainer with a powerful voice… so stop making a big deal it’s really not that serious. What do you think?
