Our SMH of the day comes from the family of the 78-year-old pilot who was flying the plane that crashed which killed Jenni Rivera along with the pilot and Jenni’s entourage.
Reports state that the family of the pilot Miguel Perez Soto filed a wrongful death lawsuit against Jenni Rivera’s company along with the plane’s owners.
It is reported that the family is blaming the horrific crash on the conditions of the plane.
Regarding the lawsuit Antonio M. Romanucci a partner representing the family in the lawsuit said in a statement “Miguel was a beloved husband, father and doting grandfather. Despite his outstanding experience and skill, Miguel was given a bad piece of equipment to fly.” He continued with “it is our contention that the Defendants knew that this jet was unsafe, unsuitably repaired and not properly maintained.”
Now the reason that we have to SMH at this ridiculous lawsuit against Jenni Rivera’s estate is that the pilot wasn’t the only one who lost his life. Jenni along with everyone else were also victims. And as the lawsuit claims that the “defendants knew that the jet was unsafe” we highly doubt that Jenni and her team were aware that the plane was going to crash and that the jet was “unsafe.”
If she did know I am sure she would have never taken the flight or had plans on purchasing the jet. Jenni Rivera’s Last Moments Before Her Tragic Death!
If they want to sue, yeah sue the owners of the plane but not Jenni as she was also a victim.
Reports state that the lawsuit filed in Los Angeles claims that Starwood Management LLC and Esquino Núñez “should have known that the Learjet and/or its component parts had not been properly maintained, repaired, inspected, and/or otherwise controlled.” The suit states that the plane had suffered substantial damages in 2005.
At this time the real reason of the plane crash is not known, but many believe that the pilots age played a factor, others believe that he might have suffered a heart attack. Why Did Jenni Rivera’s Plane Crash?
What do you think?
